Uncomfortable: Patrice Letarnec Turns Iconic Tables And Chairs Into Some Kind Of Prank Furniture

French photographer Patrice Letarnec’s has created a collection of ‘prank furniture’ titled ‘uncomfortable’ where the artist deforms iconic tables and chairs – by famous designer like Hee Welling, Jean Prouvé or Erwan Bouroullec – with painfully protruding seats, unbalanced legs and alarmingly uneven surfaces. Rendered unusable, these emblems of contemporary design become idle art objects, subverted from their original meaning and motive.
