Floating Wireless Speaker In The Shape Of A Storm Or Cotton Cloud

It’s called “Making Weather” and features a big cloud floating over an oval, mirrored base. The cloud rotates and bobs above the base to create a realistic-looking cloud experience. Whilst also playing your favorite tunes via a built-in Bluetooth speaker and sound reactive LED lights. Like all the clouds in our lives.

The cloud is able to float 1-2 inches above the base, thanks to magnets embedded in both components.

The base has to be plugged in at all times, but the cloud itself is wireless, powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery.

A remote control allows you to control the cloud from the comfort of your sofa.

Before you get too excited, this is currently just a prototype, but both companies hope to make this available soon as a commercial product.

Heads up, it won’t be cheap though. The last cloud creation was around £2,000 (US$ 2450).
