Digital Artist Eric Geusz Turns Basic Household Objects Into Fantastic Spaceship Designs

Finding inspiration can be tough sometimes but it seems that San Francisco-based freelance artist Eric Geusz needs only some art supplies and a quick rummage through his kitchen drawers in order to set his mind in motion. Eric Geusz, aka Spacegooose, is very good at turning things like tongs, a PlayStation controller and a stapler into impressive spaceship designs. These drawings are possible thanks to the psychological phenomenon called pareidolia which is defined as ‘the tendency to perceive a specific, often meaningful image in a random or ambiguous visual pattern’.
