Dolomites In Infrared: Stunning Pastel-hued Series By Andrea And Francesco Padovani

Using soon-to-be-discontinued 35mm Aerochrome film, Italian graphic and web designers Andrea and Francesco Padovani, who work as a creative duo, combine their photography and design skillset to deliver a visually alluring artwork that shows us the Dolomites mountain range in Northeastern Italy like we’ve never seen before: In infrared. The result is a pastel-hued portrait series that is extremely pleasing to the eye. ‘The actual process of shooting this film was so much fun, mainly because it allows you to capture something that you cannot actually see, and so it forces you to be more careful about your choices, making guesses, and this adds up a bit of uncertainty that for us is certainly a great part of the fun of shooting film.’ – Andrea Padovani
