Calvin Klein‘s newly-released self-titled 436-page artbook shares the stunning minimalistic imagery that led to him being helmed as one of America’s legendary designers. Klein’s ad campaigns notably set him apart from other fashion brands due to their sensual nature, and the book tells his story through imagery which includes iconic model moments with Kate Moss, Christy Turlington, Brooke Shields and more. The photos were handpicked out of 400,000 photographs to paint a narrative of his evolution in fashion, which started in 1968 with the creation of his eponymous brand. Included in the book are “Rebellious” and “Minimalistic,” sharing the campaigns shot by the greats of the fashion photography industry from Irving Penn and Richard Avedon to Bruce Weber. To get a copy head to Amazon where the book costs $90 USD. Proceeds go to charity organization God’s Love We Deliver (see links below).
