Katerina Belkina Sublime And Mystical Self-portraits

Born in Samara in the southeast of European Russia, Katerina Belkina was brought up in a creative atmosphere by her mother, a visual artist. Her education as a painter at the Art Academy and at the School for Photography of Michael Musorin in Samara gave her the tools to visualize her ideas. Exhibitions of her sublime, mystic self-portraits ensued in Moscow and Paris. Currently she lives and works in Berlin. We feature here a mix of artworks from two different series, ‘Empty Spaces’ and ‘Light and Heavy’. You can find out more on Katerina’s website.
