Annie Leibovitz Captures Chinese Artist Liu Bolin Aka The Invisible Man

Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz and Chinese artist Liu Bolin have teamed up to shoot in Iceland Moncler’s Fall-Winter 2017 campaign. In the images, Bolin uses paint to match his background, transforming himself into ‘The Invisible Man’. The artist’s body appears translucent, with only a faint outline visible. The result is almost like a trompe l’oeil on first glance – you wouldn’t think there was anyone in the picture’s frame. Browse through the campaign images and some behind-the-scenes shots.
