Mirko Sata Black And White Ink Serpentine Tattoos Reinvent Yin Yang Dualism

Mirko Sata, a Milan-based tattoo artist who works at a parlor called Satatttvision, is mostly known for his black and white ink serpent pieces, tastefully intertwined as to create a gorgeous alternative to a yin yang.
It’s quite a striking and innovative tattoo idea where he brings out the dark in the light and the light in the dark in the most creative way.
Aside from intertwined serpentine designs, Mirko also tastefully incorporates arcane symbols, roses, and roman numerals with his serpents – in his signature black and white ink, of course.
Mirko Sata: ‘Black and white are simply a symbol of dualism … In everything there is the seed of the opposite … All the snakes come from my dreams … There is one I like the most: the tripartition (3 snakes for the soul, mind, and body) … Snakes are beautiful and decorative, perfect to adapt on bodies since I make them all in freehand’.
