Ryan Berg Surreal Infrared Photography Of Yosemite Landscapes

Ryan Berg is a talented self-taught photographer, currently based in Los Angeles, CA. Ryan is a follower of analog photography. Recently he traveled to New York and made a terrific series of infrared images called ‘NYCxIR’. And now, he brings us a series of landscapes shot during a 5-day trip to Yosemite. The infrared effect is utterly dreamy, rendering the iconic park as an alien world. Infrared photography can make even the most humble landscape look like a surrealist masterpiece. But when an infrared camera is turned on an already-incredible landscape, the results are dazzling. Waterfalls crash into blue boulders and pink foliage spreads across monumental cliffs as dark skies stretch overhead: ‘I love infrared photography, and felt that Yosemite would be the perfect place to be transformed into a surreal photo series’.
