Hidden Rainbow Roots Is The New Hair Trend From London

The London salon named “Not Another Salon” is slaying this new trend. The experienced stylists paint vivid colors in a classy and, if you can believe it, subtle way.

Hidden rainbow roots is the new hair trend from London

When it comes to fall’s prettiest hair trends, we usually turn to Instagram for the best examples.

Our feeds have been filled with colorful (and colorless) ideas, from rose gold blonde to grey ombre. Today, we stumbled upon an unexpected gem - and it plays off Snapchat.

You might not think of the latter platform as your mane inspiration, but a certain technicolor filter (you know, the one that makes you vomit rainbows) actually creates the coolest dye effect.

Hidden rainbow hair definitely isn’t a new idea, but it’s tougher to get right than you might think.

That’s why our jaws pretty much dropped to the floor when we saw an eye-searing take on stealth rainbow strands on Refinery29.

The cool color is the work of London’s @notanothersalon – which seems like a pretty accurate name to us.

The top half of the model’s hair was sectioned off and pinned up, leaving the bottom half to be split into seven, vibrantly painted sections.

The result is nothing short of amazing… think of locks as bright and precise as Snapchat’s rainbow vomit, but floating down your strands (it’s more appealing than it sounds).

FYI, rainbow hair fades fast, so tucking it beneath your natural color is a smart way to try a more low-maintenance take on the trend.

Now that’s a bright idea!
